    What is the temp on the non treated metal. I’m in south Florida and got a metal building a couple yrs ago now. I put 5/8” in my over the 4’ oc metal frame of the shed leaving a 2” air gap, it took temps down 25-30 degrees. Which is really amazing. The roof does get crazy hot and the wall mounted fan does a good job of blowing the hot air down on me when I’m working.

    At the end of the video you had the radiator fan bearing screaming. How did you get it fixed? Did you make a video for that? That is always a worry for me on my Eagle. Where to find the pulley assembly. I don't know if you can replace that assembly without removing the radiator. It would be very difficult to do it through the floor of the coach in the back.

    • @RollinHomies
      @RollinHomies 5 месяцев назад

      Scales are only needed when adjusting the bogey wheels. there is a very technical way to do this. Long story short, my bus was parked on ramps for too long. Knowing that the aggressive incline was at fault for front being lower, I made the adjustments to bring it back up and level.

  • @BROKENTOOTH0
    @BROKENTOOTH0 6 месяцев назад

    Great, just one question, are you supposed to use the wheel well trim as a hight reference, or the bus wheel opening without the trim?

    • @RollinHomies
      @RollinHomies 5 месяцев назад

      I referenced from the trim. Another way is to measure from the bottom edge of the bus to the ground. 13-14 inches is the height you’re looking for.

    So how high did it make your bus overall height clearance now?

    • @RollinHomies
      @RollinHomies 10 месяцев назад

      As I was speaking with other eagle owners, I was told that adjustment to the bogies does nothing for height and only adds assistance for brakes. Idk though, as my bus now sits just under 48” all the way around. There is a proper procedure for adjusting the suspension and I did not follow it. I have my reasons and is why I adjusted the front first earlier this year. Bus was parked in a position that compressed the front torsions to the point that they stayed at that height. I raised the front back to level at 47” and that was allowing the bogies to lockup under hard braking. Common sense told me I needed to add down force to make bogies. Just drove 1500 miles from Tulsa to St Cloud with zero issues.

    • @RollinHomies
      @RollinHomies Год назад

      The previous installer over torqued the bolts/nuts for the mounting brackets to the panels. They used self-locking flanged nuts to join them. The locking edges created perforated edges in the panel’s aluminum … basically created dotted lines for the aluminum to tear along. And yes, vibration from just six months of traveling about 20k miles aiding in the failure of the aluminum.

    • @RollinHomies
      @RollinHomies Год назад

      Personally, taking the substrate to bare metal for adhesion is best. Using butyl or double sided permanent 3m tape will work for a glue/gasket in between metals … which you would also want if joining two types of metals together (corrosion). Then use self tap metal roof screws for securing. I’d be careful when using an impact driver because you cannot feel the screw tightening down and you could easily tear through the metal. I will add that this would be for a metal roof like a bus application. Rv roof would change materials used slightly, but be almost the same process. Hope that helps✌🏼
